Malibu Real Estate Market Roaring Back! Time To Move?

If you have any doubts about whether the Malibu Real Estate Market has hit bottom, I think after to hear these statistics you will agree  there has been a big turnaround!

Last year by this date there had bee 30 sales of condos and single family homes for both landside and beach homes combined, with prices at a low of $315,000 and a high of $6,500,000. The Median was $1,255,000 indicating the majrity of sales happend in the lowere price ranges.

This year if you were to combine the beach and land side sales the number would be 100!!! that is a HUGE jump. Not only that, the price range of properties under contract has also spiked with the highest today being a home in the Point Dume area at $14,995,000.

The Median for homes under contract but not yet closed is reaching $5,750,000 for beach properties and $811,000 for the land side ones even as the land side is also seeing high end sales above the Five Million Dollar mark.

There are some wonderful properties out there right now at great prices. Time to move? or is this a blue moon?
