Las Flores Beach, affectionately known as “dog beach,” is one of those often photographed sections of Pacific Coast Highway with “wall-to-wall” homes.
The homes are directly on PCH. Many of them are built above a beach that is frequently underwater at high tide. Sea lions and dolphins are often seen in the ocean.
Homes include single family, duplexes, and triplexes. The area has been undergoing a gradual upgrading with better designed and constructed homes.
Here south of the city of Malibu but closer to Santa Monica are a number of opportunities to get in on a beach pad. The sections of the beach vary in how wet/dry they are but everywhere the ocean air and the view of the Queen’s necklace, Catalina Island and Palos Verdes are magical!
There is a wide variety of properties in this area which is reflected in the prices and many opportunities to lease and try out the Malibu Way of Life.
